At P&R Jones Tree Services we pride ourselves on our efficiency, care and technical skill that are essential in getting large trees down in small or awkward spaces. We have plenty of  experience in machine-assisted removal, as well as more standard forms of removal such as felling, dismantling and technical rigging. Whatever the situation is, we know how to get trees down safely.

 We take a targeted approach to pruning. Solutions can include: • Pruning for even clearance from buildings or objects • Removal of deadwood. • Reduction in height, weight, or foliage volume from problematic limbs. • Bracing or propping – where the tree is at increased risk of limb failure. • Canopy reduction – to leave the tree more compact, and to allow more light penetration.

 Once we have ascertained what the actual problem is, we can then implement a solution.

Our land clearing service ensures the removal of trees and shrubs or any woody plants from an area that needs to be cleared for different uses. If a new construction, development or expansion is to begin, then the land where the structure will be placed needs to be ready for the project. That means all the woody vegetation in the area representing the site of the project, needs to be removed.

Here at P&R Jones we offer an Emergency Service. We can come to help remove any trees that might be an immediate danger to a house, property or any structure on a property, or trees that already fallen producing damage on a property. During strong storms, trees or heavy branches might be blown down and inflict damage on your property. In many cases, the removal process of the fallen tree or branch can cause even more damage than the initial impact if lacking the experience for a proper removal.

It’s that time of year you need to start thinking about stocking up those logs for the winter months! We supply seasoned hard word (Ash,oak and sycamore mix) Our logs are stored and dried in IBC crates, and are £130 a crate. Free delivery within 15 miles of WV8.
